Job summary

Actio Recruitment is recruiting a CNC Miller Setter/Operator for a Mansfield precision engineering client. You will set and operate 5-axis CNC mills with Fanuc controls to produce high-precision components to tight tolerances.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing first-off inspections, tool changes and offsets on modern machining centres, and maintaining quality throughout production.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Miller Setter/Operator.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Experience with 5-axis machining centres.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience producing high-precision components.

Responsibilities

Actio Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our precision engineering client in Mansfield.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of high-precision machined components, they are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to their skilled machining team on a permanent day shift.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CNC machinist with 5-axis milling experience and Fanuc control knowledge looking to join a stable business.

The Role

As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machining centres to produce precision-engineered components to exact customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls


• Manufacture precision components to engineering drawings


• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments


• Work on modern 5-axis machining centres
