Job summary

Actio Recruitment in Mansfield is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join a precision engineering manufacturer. You will set and run Fanuc-controlled milling machines and manufacture components from engineering drawings to tight tolerances.

You will inspect parts with precision measuring equipment, adjust tooling and settings, and maintain high quality standards on a day shift. This permanent, full-time role offers £15-£18 per hour and overtime at time and a third.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Miller Setter/Operator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Competent with precision measuring equipment.
• Reliable, motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.
• Manufacture precision components to drawings and specs.
• Inspect finished components with measuring equipment.
• Adjust machine settings and tooling as required.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy throughout production.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep a clean area.
