Job summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller for a permanent role near Long Eaton. You will work in a modern precision engineering environment, programming and operating CNC milling machines and reading engineering drawings. Experience with Hurco, Haas, Mazak or Fanuc controls is preferred, along with an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.

Commutable from Nottingham, Long Eaton and surrounding areas. We offer ongoing training and career development opportunities, a pension, and onsite parking.

• Program CNC milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Operate and set up Hurco, Haas, Mazak or Fanuc controls.
• Identify and maintain machine tooling and setups.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Job description

The Basics:

Role: CNC Miller

Position: Permanent

Location: Near Long Eaton

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm

Contracted hours per week: 40hrs

Pay rates are dependent on experience:

Up to £19 per hour - £39520 per annum + Overtime = earnings of £45k and upwards achievable

Overtime: Paid at x1.5

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, company pension, onsite parking, training and career development.

The ideal candidate / CNC Miller

May have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Experience programming CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
