Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a CNC Miller for a permanent role near Long Eaton, working in a precision engineering environment. The role involves programming CNC milling machines, reading engineering drawings and supporting manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC controls such as Hurco, Haas, Mazak or Fanuc, and an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent. Onsite parking and career development opportunities are provided.

Job description

The Basics:

Role: CNC Miller
Position: Permanent
Location: Near Long Eaton

Hours:

Monday to Wednesday 4pm to 2am and Thursdays 4pm to 1am
Contracted hours per week: 39hrs

Pay rates are dependent on experience:

Up to 19 per hour + Overtime = earnings of 45k and upwards achievable
Overtime: Paid at x1.33
Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, company pension, onsite parking, training and career development.

Working in modern, fast paced precision engineering business we now require a CNC Miller to join the team.

The ideal candidate / CNC Miller may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Experience programming CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience with Hurco, Haas, Mazak or Fanuc controls.
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• HAAS and Matsuura machinery knowledge
