• Preparation of fixtures/tooling, asdirected.
  
• Run proven programmes, adjust workand/or tool co-ordinates and correct any errors
  
• Set tools and produce a ‘First Off’part to correct quality standard
  
• Carry out 1 st off inspectionfrom engineering drawings and update paperwork
  
• Ensure the cell output is made to theagreed schedules
  
• Ensure the quality of the machineoutput is to required specification
  
• Apply machine maintenance as perschedules
  
• Co-operate and liaise with all otherareas when required
  
• Ensure 5’s is maintained in the celland other areas
  
• Carry out any other duties reasonablewithin capability including possible secondment to work in other areas on theshop floor
  

Requirements

· Able to set and operate CNC machineryto produce parts and inspect to the required standard

· Setter / Operator with strongbackground knowledge of milling

· Must be competent operating with FANUCand/or Heidenhain controls

· Able to use a wide variety of measuringequipment

· Ability to troubleshoot problems andsupport resolution

· Good time management skills to meetdeadlines

· Eligible to work in the UK

· Ability to read and understandengineering drawings
