Job Opportunity: 5 Axis CNC Miller Programmer

We are currently recruiting for a 5 axis CNC Miller Programmer for our client in Ely, a highly regarded company within the motorsport industry. They are looking for an experienced 5 axis programmer/setter/operator to join their busy new business unit, working predominantly within the motorsports industry for prestigious customers.

What’s the job?

• Excellent CAD/CAM skills, preferably using Hypermill, with training provided if necessary.
• Utilising CNC Milling machines.
• 5 axis programming/machining experience.
• Reading and interpreting complex work documentation.
• Design and manufacture of simple fixtures where appropriate.
• Logging times onto our ERP system accurately to ensure job profitability and ISO 9001 conformance.

Who can do this?

• Experience working with castings is an advantage but not essential.
• Must have 5 axis machining experience.
• CNC Milling experience is necessary.
• Passion for precision engineering is essential.
