The Role
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller – Haas Programmer/Setter on behalf of our client. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled machinist to join a busy and forward-thinking engineering environment with long-term job security and development opportunities.

Responsibilities:
⦁ Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines (Haas/Fanuc controls) to produce high-precision parts.
⦁ Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring components meet tight tolerances.
⦁ Performing tool changes, offsets, and basic maintenance as needed.
⦁ Conducting first-off and in-process inspections to ensure consistent quality.
⦁ Working with a variety of materials including aluminium and stainless steel.
⦁ Collaborating with production and quality teams to improve processes and productivity.

Requirements:
⦁ Proven experience as a CNC Miller with strong Haas programming and setting skills.
⦁ Ability to read and work from complex engineering drawings.
⦁ Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
⦁ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
⦁ Experience with aluminium extrusions or long-length machining is desirable but not essential.
