Job summary

Euro Projects Recruitment - Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology in Coalville, Leicestershire, is seeking an experienced CNC Miller. The role involves online programming, setting and operating CNC machines for various projects, with flexibility in start/finish times and a generous holiday allowance.

Overtime is available at 1.5x rate, and health and wellbeing cover is provided. The successful candidate will work in a small team, using Fanuc and Siemens controls and handling 3-axis and 5-axis

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC Miller with strong programming, setting and operating skills.
• Comfortable with Fanuc and Siemens controls and willing to learn.
• Background in CNC milling across diverse projects.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC machines to produce small batches.
• Interpret engineering drawings and produce parts to spec.
• Communicate with customers on projects when needed.
• Work with 3-axis and 5-axis machines in a small team.

CNC Miller

Salary:£19.00 to £20.00 per hour as a guide.

Hours: 40 hour week with flexible start / finish time. 32 days holiday including banks which rises by an additional day each year up to 36 days. Optional overtime available at x1.5 hourly rate. Additional bonuses paid. Health and well being cover.

The CNC Miller job would suit:

• An experienced CNC Miller who is skilled at online programming, setting, and operating CNC machines for a range of projects.
• Comfortable using Fanuc and / or Siemens controls. We can be flexible for the right person who is willing to learn.
• Preferably from a CNC milling background.
• Happy working within a small team and culturally aligned to help support across a range of wider tasks where required.

The CNC Miller job will involve:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machines to machine a range of smaller batches of components.
• Fanuc / Siemens programming, primarily working with CNC milling machines initially.
• Machines used are both 3 axis and 5 axis.
• Working from a range of engineering drawings, occasionally communicating with the customers on projects too.
