Job summary

Kinetic plc in Chesterfield, England, invites applications for a CNC Miller/CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator. You’ll program, set and operate CNC Mill‑Turn machines to produce precision components to customer specs in a hands‑on role.

Read engineering drawings, edit and prove programs, perform in‑process inspections with micrometers and verniers, and maintain accurate production records. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machine tools.
• Able to read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
• Proven inspection and measurement skills with micrometers/verniers.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC Mill-Turn machinery.
• Produce precision components from steels and aluminium alloys.
• Edit and prove CNC programs as required.
