Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Turn specialist in Ferndown to program, set and operate Mazak mill turn machines with Mazatrol and ISO G-code. You will produce precision components to tight tolerances and perform first-off inspections using micrometers and gauges.

You will benefit from a 4-day working week (Mon-Thu), a permanent night shift (20:30 to 07:00), and a supportive environment that values craftsmanship. Experience with Mazak controls and GD&T is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years' CNC mill turn programming experience with proven ability to program, set and operate Mazak machines.
• Strong knowledge of Mazatrol and/or Smooth controls, plus ISO G-code editing.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Programming Mazak mill turn machines using Mazatrol and ISO G-code.
• Setting and proving out jobs on Mazak Quick Turn, Nexus, Smooth or Integrex machines.
• Running CNC mill turn operations to produce precision components within tight tolerances.
• Performing first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers and gauges.
• Maintaining a safe and organized work area in line with 5S standards.
