Job summary

Workforce Staffing is recruiting for an experienced CNC Mazak Turner to join a well‑established precision engineering team in Bilston, West Midlands. You will set and operate Mazak turning machines on regular batch production, with no requirement for full programming, while focusing on accuracy and efficiency.

Candidates should be adept at setting machines, adjusting offsets, and reading engineering drawings to meet tight tolerances. A strong quality mindset and reliable work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines.
• Strong experience with Mazak/Mazatrol controls and offsets.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mazak CNC turning machines for regular batch production.
• Adjust offsets and perform basic tool changes as required.

CNC Mazak Turner

Location: Bilston, West Midlands, UK

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM




• Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM




• Full-time, permanent position

Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour

We're currently working with a well-established precision engineering company based in Bilston, known for producing high-quality components for a wide range of industries. Due to continued growth and demand, they're now looking to add an experienced CNC Mazak Turner to their team.

The Role

This is a hands-on CNC Mazak Turning position working on regular batch production. You will be responsible for setting and operating Mazak CNC turning machines, making adjustments and ensuring components are produced accurately and efficiently.

There is no requirement for full programming, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Setter/Operator who is confident working with Mazak machinery.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC turning machines




• Strong experience with Mazak / Mazatrol controls




• Confident setting machines and adjusting offsets




• Able to carry out basic tool changes and setting adjustments




• Experience working to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
