Job summary

NEUTRA in Eynsham, Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) for a 6-month contract. Working on Mazak machines, you will set and operate precision lathes to produce components to engineering drawings and stringent quality standards.

This hands-on role requires reading drawings, performing tool changes and offsets, and using micrometers or verniers to inspect parts. Hours are late shifts, around 40 per week, inside IR35 with a rate up to £26 per hour PAYE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner with setting, operating and possibly programming capability.
• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers.
• Reliable, quality focused and able to work independently.

CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) | 6 Month Contract

Location: Eynsham, Oxfordshire

Duration: 6 Months

Shift: Lates c40 hours per week, Inside IR35. Up to £26ph gross PAYE

We're looking for an experienced CNC Turner (Setter/Operator) to join a busy manufacturing team on a 6 month contract.

Working on Mazak machines, you'll be machining precision composite components for high-performance engineering applications. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for setting and operating machines to produce quality parts safely and efficiently.

Producing precision components to engineering drawings, you will carry out tool changes and offsets, inspect finished parts and operate in a safe and productive manufacturing environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner with setting, operating and possibly programming capability
• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers and verniers
• Reliable, quality focused and able to work independently

Experience with Mazak or Mazatrol controls would be an advantage, but is not essential.
