CNC / Manual Machine Trainer (Full Training Provided)
Salary: 36,000 - 38,000 + Full Training into teaching + Work life balance + Benefits
Yate, Bristol
Are you from a machining or workshop background and ready to step into a more structured, less pressured working environment whilst inspiring the next generation?
Do you want to use your hands-on engineering experience to develop the next generation, without the long hours, production targets or shop-floor pressure?
This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist, growing training provider with an excellent reputation for quality and stability. They are known for investing in their people, providing full training and support to help you transition into a rewarding teaching career.
You’ll be part of a close-knit, professional team where the focus is on development, not output targets. The environment is structured, supportive and far more predictable than a traditional workshop, giving you a better work-life balance while still staying connected to your trade.
This is not about becoming a teacher overnight - it's about taking what you already know from industry and applying it in a new way. You’ll be fully trained, supported and gradually developed into the role.
Working in a well-equipped workshop environment, you’ll support and guide learners through practical engineering skills such as manual machining, bench fitting and general workshop techniques, helping them build confidence and competence in their trade.
The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 3 and have a background in manual machining but people with a CNC machining background in milling or turning will be considered.
This role would suit someone with a manual machining background (turning, milling or similar) who is ready for a long-term, stable career where they can step off the tools but still use their expertise everyday.
We are an equal opportunities company and welcome applications from all suitable candidates.
