Job summary

Hawk 3 is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operator for a permanent twilight shift in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. You will set and run CNC turning machines, reading drawings and maintaining tight tolerances, with a focus on quality and process control.

The role requires setting tooling, performing first-off inspections, and using precision measuring equipment. Fanuc and Mazatrol experience is advantageous. Four-day week, with twilight shift allowance and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Turner / CNC Setter Operator.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with tight tolerances.
• Competent using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls would be advantageous.

CNC Turner Setter/Operator - Twilight Shift

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Salary: Up to £20 per hour DOE+ Twilight Shift Allowance

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm-2:45am

The Role

We are looking for experienced CNC Turner Setter/Operators to join a well-established precision engineering business in Tewkesbury.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner who is confident with setting and operating CNC turning machinery and enjoys working in a high-quality, precision manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machines, producing precision components to engineering drawings and maintaining the high standards of quality expected by the business.

Experience Required

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner / CNC Setter Operator.
• Strong CNC turning and setting experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Competent using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls would be advantageous.
• Experience with multi-axis, twin-spindle or Mill/Turn machinery would be beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
