Job summary

HEC Precision in Southall is seeking a skilled CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a clean, modern facility. You will program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled multi-axis lathes, turning aerospace components for long-term programmes.

Experience with EdgeCam or HyperMill is an advantage; offline programming is optional. You will work with Doosan Lynx 220LM and Puma 400/3100/2600SY including sub-spindle configurations, with overtime and a competitive pension/bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC turning for aerospace or precision components.
• Ability to program, set and operate CNC lathes (Fanuc).
• Knowledge of offline programming is advantageous (EdgeCam/HyperMill).

Responsibilities

• CNC Turner – programming, setting and operating (Fanuc multi-axis lathes).
• Program offline using EdgeCam or HyperMill if applicable.
• Produce aerospace components for client base.
• Work with Doosan Lynx 220LM & Puma 400, 3100 & 2600SY including sub spindle.

CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter/Operator

HEC Precision based in Southall are an established leader in the subcontract manufacture of precision machined components to the Aerospace sector.

Providing engineering excellence across the industry serving a prestigious and diverse Aerospace client base supporting a range of long term 10-year plus programmes.

Due to the continued growth and re-investment in the business, coupled with high staff retention, there is a new position available for a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to Program new parts, set and operate a range of Modern CNC Lathes & Machining Centres.

Job Profile

As the successful CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter Operator, you will be part of a highly skilled team of engineers in a clean, modern, state of the art facility.

Duties:

• CNC Turner – Programming Setting and Operating (Fanuc controlled Multi axis Lathes)
• Programming Offline an advantage but not essential (Edge Cam & hyperMill)
• Producing components for the Aerospace and associated sectors.
• Working with Doosan Lynx 220LM & Puma 400, 3100 & 2600SY (Sub Spindle)

Hours of Work:

• Optional 4 Day working week available.
• Flexible day shift working hours with available overtime.
• All hours over 40hrs per week is paid at x1.333hrs and weekend x1.5 & x2
• 24 days paid holiday based on a 5 day week + all National holidays paid
