Job summary

HEC Precision Ltd in Southall specialises in precision aerospace components with a long-standing client base. A new CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter/Operator role is available for an experienced engineer to program, set and run Fanuc controlled multi-axis lathes and machining centres.

You will work in a clean, modern facility, with Doosan Lynx 220LM and Puma machines, producing aerospace parts to tight tolerances. Optional 4-day week and overtime options may be available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Turner in aerospace or precision machining.
• Experience with Fanuc control and multi-axis lathes.
• Ability to program, set, and operate CNC machines; familiarity with EdgeCam or HyperMill is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines.
• Produce aerospace components to exact tolerances.
• Work in a clean, modern facility with Doosan Lynx and Puma machines.
• Assist with offline programming if applicable.

HEC Precision based in Southall are an established leader in the subcontract manufacture of precision machined components to the Aerospace sector. Providing engineering excellence across the industry serving a prestigious and diverse Aerospace client base supporting a range of long term 10-year plus programmes.

Due to the continued growth and re-investment in the business, coupled with high staff retention, there is a new position available for a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to Program new parts, set and operate a range of Modern CNC Lathes & Machining Centres.

Job Profile

As the successful CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter Operator, you will be part of a highly skilled team of engineers in a clean, modern, state of the art facility.

Duties:

• CNC Turner - Programming Setting and Operating (Fanuc controlled Multi axis Lathes)
• Programming Offline an advantage but not essential (Edge Cam & hyperMill)
• Producing components for the Aerospace and associated sectors.
• Working with Doosan Lynx 220LM & Puma 400, 3100 & 2600SY (Sub Spindle)

Hours of Work:

• Optional 4 Day working week available.
• Flexible day shift working hours with available overtime.
• All hours over 40hrs per week is paid at x1.333hrs and weekend x1.5 & x2
• 24 days paid holiday based on a 5 day week + all National holidays paid
