Job summary

HEC Precision Ltd in Southall specialises in precision machined aerospace components for a prestigious client base. A new CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter/Operator role has become available due to continued growth and reinvestment in a modern, clean facility.

You will join a skilled team, programming (Fanuc) multi-axis lathes, setting and operating with opportunities for offline programming using EdgeCam and HyperMill. A competitive bonus and pension scheme are available with a potential 4-day week.

Qualifications

• CNC Turner – programming, setting and operating (Fanuc multi-axis lathes).
• Experience with offline programming is an advantage (EdgeCam / HyperMill).
• Aerospace components production experience preferred with AS9100/ISO9001 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC lathes to tight aerospace tolerances.
• Produce precision components for aerospace customers and subcontracting work.
• Utilise Fanuc controls on Doosan Lynx machines and collaborate with senor/quality teams.

CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter/Operator

HEC Precision based in Southall are an established leader in the subcontract manufacture of precision machined components to the Aerospace sector.

Providing engineering excellence across the industry serving a prestigious and diverse Aerospace client base supporting a range of long term 10-year plus programmes.

Due to the continued growth and re-investment in the business, coupled with high staff retention, there is a new position available for a skilled and experienced CNC Turner to Program new parts, set and operate a range of Modern CNC Lathes & Machining Centres.

Job Profile

As the successful CNC Turner/Programmer/Setter Operator, you will be part of a highly skilled team of engineers in a clean, modern, state of the art facility.

Duties

• CNC Turner – Programming Setting and Operating (Fanuc controlled Multi axis Lathes)
• Programming Offline an advantage but not essential (Edge Cam & hyperMill)
• Producing components for the Aerospace and associated sectors.
• Working with Doosan Lynx 220LM & Puma 400, 3100 & 2600SY (Sub Spindle)

Hours of Work

• Optional 4 Day working week available.
• Flexible day shift working hours with available overtime.
• All hours over 40hrs per week is paid at x1.333hrs and weekend x1.5 & x2
• 24 days paid holiday based on a 5 day week + all National holidays paid
