Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join a busy Dudley manufacturing site. The role covers drilling, tapping and milling with rotating shifts, offering a temporary-to-permanent path and long-term prospects for the right person.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with CNC machinery, be confident reading engineering drawings, and uphold safety standards while maintaining quality. Weekly pay and local support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery for drilling, tapping and milling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings accurately.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC machinery for drilling, tapping and milling
• Loading and unloading components
• Setting and operating machines to specification
• Carrying out basic machine adjustments
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Using measuring equipment to check components
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production
• Ensuring components meet tolerances and specifications
• Changing tooling and basic tool changes
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following production, quality and health & safety procedures
