Job summary

AWD online in Swindon area is seeking a Machinist / Miller / Turner / CNC Engineer with experience in milling, turning and precision machining. You will work on 3, 4 and 5 axis bed mills using conversational programming in a non-repetitive workshop.

The role offers a salary up to £35,000 pro rata, with full-time or part-time hours, and a friendly, family-run environment after 36 years trading.

Qualifications

• Experience in skilled machinist role or similar.
• Experience using 3 axis SMX & DPM bed mills with ProtoTRAK AGE 3 & SMX0 controls.
• Desirable experience on 4 & 5 axis Brother Machining Centres.

Responsibilities

• CNC Milling Operations: produce components on 3, 4 and 5 axis bed mills.
• Conversational Programming: set and operate machines with ProtoTRAK controls.
• Precision Engineering: deliver high-quality bespoke components to spec.
