Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and monitor CNC lathes and milling machines in a precision manufacturing environment. The role requires adapting to metric and imperial units and reading technical drawings to ensure conformance with specifications.

You will work collaboratively with teammates, maintain 5S standards in the shop, perform routine quality checks, and document production activities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working with CNC Lathes and/or Milling machines.
• 3+ years setting experience.
• Ability to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
• Understanding of drawings/technical data.
• Team player and able to liaise at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor CNC machines.
• Check throughput and efficiencies.
• Support 5S activities in machining areas.
• Comply with HSEQ policy incl. risk assessments and PPE.
• Conduct pre-use visual checks on machines.
• Inspect cables and equipment before use.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Verify work against drawings and specs.
• Record activity on Production packs and docs.
