Job summary

Arabelle Solutions seeks a skilled Machinist for our Service Centre in Rugby. You will operate Mills, Lathes and Drills to manufacture large bespoke components from high-grade metals, ensuring drawings, orders and internal standards are met.

You will read drawings, edit NC programs and perform self-inspection with micrometers and inspection tools, working with EHS, Quality and Continuous Improvement teams to uphold safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Experience with 5-axis machining, turning and milling.
• Ability to edit NC programs and work with Siemens 840D controls.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to manufacture bespoke parts.
• Edit NC programs to ensure tolerances and finishes.
• Carry out self‑inspection using micrometers and inspection tools.
• Support EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Work on a 3‑shift rotation schedule across site.
