Job summary

Quartzelec is recruiting a CNC Machinist Apprentice for our Mill Road site in Rugby. This four-year programme combines hands-on machining in a busy shop with academic study toward a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering.

You'll learn to operate CNC machines, load materials, monitor production, and work with the programming office. The apprenticeship offers tailored training, mentorship, and real industry experience within a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grades A–C (or equivalent) including Maths, English and Science.
• Interest in engineering, especially rotating machinery and manufacturing.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical and academic skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines under supervision and monitor performance.
• Load raw materials and unload finished components.
• Collaborate with programming office to support production.
