Winbro is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our Shepshed facility to manufacture precision tooling and components using 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC machines with Heidenhain controls.

You will set up and operate machining centres, interpret drawings, and perform in-process inspections. Programming experience is highly desirable, and you will collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to optimise processes and meet tight tolerances.

Qualificações

• Experience in 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining to tight tolerances.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Set and operate CNC machining centres independently.
• Programming experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls and tooling selection.

Responsabilidades

• Set and operate CNC machining centres to manufacture precision tooling and components.
• Produce components to exact specifications and tight tolerances.
• Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Select and set tooling, fixtures and machining strategies.
• Conduct in-process inspection and quality checks using precision measuring equipment.
• Identify and resolve machining issues to minimise scrap and downtime.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Programming and Production teams to meet customer requirements.
• Support development and optimisation of machining processes.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
