TXM Recruit is seeking an experienced CNC Miller for a precision engineering company in Buckinghamshire. You will program, set up and operate 3- and 4-axis machines, working to tight tolerances on demanding automotive and motorsport components.

The role covers online HEIDENHAIN programming, offline CAM work, tooling selection and reading CAD drawings. A strong eye for detail and prior experience with HEIDENHAIN controls is advantageous.

Qualificações

• Proven CNC Milling experience.
• Able to program, set and operate independently.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• HEIDENHAIN experience desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Program, set up and operate 3- and 4-axis CNC milling machines.
• Online programming using HEIDENHAIN controls.
• Offline programming using CAM software.
• Produce precision components to tight tolerances.
• Select tooling, fixtures and cutting strategies.
• Read engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Inspect own work and carry out dimensional checks.
• Support machining process improvements.
