Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to work for a Precision Engineering firm based in Wetherby.
The business is commutable from York, Leeds or Harrogate and this is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team who take pride in their work.
Required Experience:
· Experienced tool room operative within the engineering sector
· Excellent CNC Milling skills
· Capable of reading complex engineering drawings
· Ideally have 5 years’ experience CNC programming, setting and operation
· Good working knowledge of FANUC controls and programming
· Strong understanding of providing accuracy and quality
· Must have attention to detail, flexibility and have a team player mentality
Other desired skills required include:
· A good understanding of CAD/CAM (Autodesk) ideally Fusion 360
· Familiar with Heidenhain controls and programming
· Experience in engineering a wide range of specialist materials including Heavy Flame cut Structural Steels, High tensile steel, Aluminium, Brass, Bronze and Acetal
· Experience of working to ISO9001:2015
· C/B FLT License would be beneficial
The core working hours for this role are 37hrs per week, 7.30am-5.15pm from Monday to Thursday. Overtime is always available and is paid at Time + 1/3 on weekdays and Time + ½ on Saturdays. The starting salary for the role is between £32k and £34k Depending on Experience. This role is advertised as Permanent.
