Job summary

Acorn By Synergie is seeking a CNC Machine Operator / Setter for a straightforward Day Shift position near South Molton, North Devon. You will operate and set CNC lathes or mills, ensuring parts meet tight specifications.

Experience with Doosan, Hurco, XYZ or Fanuc controls is desirable; measuring with Vernier/Micrometers and quality inspection skills are required. The role offers a permanent contract, day shifts, and a supportive, family-owned environment with generous holidays and pension

Acorn By Synergie are working with a respected and flexible local Engineering business in search of a CNC Machine Operator / Setter for a straight Day Shift position.

Essential Experience Required . . .

• CNC Lathe or Mill experience is non-negotiable. Welcoming application from all CNC Machinists of this ilk.


• Experience with any of the following is highly desirable - Doosan, Hurco or XYZ machinery / Fanuc machine controls.


• Quality Inspection know how.


• Measuring experience (use of Verniers, Micrometres, etc.)


• Dependable and professional.
