Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator for a role in North Staffordshire. You will set and operate CNC turning machines and produce components to engineering drawings and precise specifications within a demanding manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a solid manufacturing background. Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm with overtime available; up to £19 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a CNC machining/manufacturing environment (ESSENTIAL).
• Experience with CNC turning/lathe operations (ESSENTIAL).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (ESSENTIAL).
• Solid manufacturing background (ESSENTIAL).

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machinery.

CNC Machining, Setting & Turning
Location: North Staffordshire
Rate: Up to £19 per hour
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am - 5pm, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday overtime available
Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with an established manufacturing business seeking an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join their machining team in North Staffordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and hands-on CNC machinist to join an established manufacturing environment, working with CNC turning equipment and producing components to engineering drawings and required specifications.
This role suits someone with a solid manufacturing background who is confident working independently, solving problems, and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.

CNC Setter / Operator Responsibilities:
