Job summary

Yolk Recruitment are partnering with a leading high-precision manufacturing business to recruit a skilled CNC Machinist for turning. The role focuses on setting, running and programming CNC lathes, with inspection of components and interpretation of engineering drawings alongside cross-functional teams.

The position operates on a three-shift cycle (6-2, 2-10, 10-6) with available overtime to maximise earnings.

Qualifications

• Time served setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Programming experience is advantageous but not essential.
• An apprenticeship is advantageous.

This is a three shift role working 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6, and overtime is readily available for those who'd like to make the most of their earning potential.

This is what you'll be doing

• Set, run and program CNC lathes
• Inspection of components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Work with other areas of the business as appropriate

The experience you'll bring to the team

• Essential: previous experience Setting/Operating CNC machinery.
• Programming experience is advantageous but not essential
• An apprenticeship is advantageous
