Job description

Job Title: CNC Milling Machinist Engineer

We are an established and respected engineering manufacturing company seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist Engineer for a hands-on role. The position involves manufacturing various stainless-steel components for our proprietary food processing equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct valued engineering practices within the factory environment.
2. Maintain high standards of hygiene, discipline, attendance, and punctuality.
3. Create and implement productivity improvements through equipment or policy enhancements, leveraging your knowledge and experience for the benefit of the company.

Qualifications:

City & Guilds Qualifications or an apprenticeship in Engineering are advantageous but not mandatory if you possess at least 4 years of machining experience.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with scheduled breaks: a 10-minute break from 10:00 am to 10:10 am and a 30-minute lunch break from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

Specific shift timings:

• Wednesday/Thursday: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm / 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 pm (overtime possible)

Overtime is generally available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate, including Saturday mornings.

Your pay rate depends on your experience.
