Dutton Recruitment is seeking a CNC Machinist for a permanent role based in Irvine. Immediate start available following interview. Salary is £47,817.63 per annum, inclusive of shift allowance.

The position involves days and nights shift patterns: Days 7:30am–4:30pm Mon-Thu, 7:30am–12:30pm Fri; Nights 9:30pm–7:30am Mon-Thu. Qualifications

• 3+ years post-apprenticeship CNC machining experience.
• Competent in setting & programming Mazatrol Milling Centres.

• Maintain housekeeping for a safe, clean working environment.
• Interpret drawings to customer specs and produce within production times.

Job description

We are looking for a CNC Machinist for a permanent position based with our client in Irvine.

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Salary is £47,817.63 per annum per annum - inclusive of shift allowance

This will be working days and nights shift pattern, working hours are Days - Monday to Thursday - 7:30am to 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm, Night shift is Monday to Thursday 9:30pm to 7:30am.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manufacture components from engineering drawings, whilst working within company Quality procedures.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Interpret engineering drawings to customer specifications in order to produce components to the correct standards within the estimated production times.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years post apprenticeship CNC Machining
• Experience of medium to heavy components, must be competent in setting & programming Mazatrol Milling Machining Centres.
• Experience of operating CNC Horizontal, Vertical Borers, Machining centres or Mill Turns.
• Working knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle times.
