Job summary

The Collective Network Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a Motorsport-oriented precision machining environment. You will work with metal parts requiring tight tolerances, setting up and operating multi-axis milling machines and overseeing precision checks.

Proven ability to read drawings, adapt to a fast-paced shop, and self-inspect parts using manual tools is essential. Shift pattern is double days; ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced machine shop is essential.
• Solid working knowledge of 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling.
• Able to self-inspect your own parts using measuring tools.

CNC Machinist

Up to £39k DOE (inclusive of shift allowance)

Interested in working for a leading Motorsport company? A company that prides itself on excellence is looking for an experienced CNC machinist to join their thriving team. Working with metallics to very tight tolerances, you'll be machining for the Motorsport, Aerospace and Marine industries.

Experience in working in a fast-paced machine shop is essential, however, the main experience required is a solid working knowledge of the following:

• Ability to set, operate and edit 3, 4 or 5 axis milling machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
• Adherence to tight tolerances and high standards
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to self-inspect your own parts using manual measuring equipment

This is working a double days shift pattern, 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm. Monday to Friday (earlier finish on a Friday).
