Job summary

Gap Technical are representing a manufacturing business near Birmingham seeking a CNC Machinist to join the team on a temporary basis. The role involves operating CNC vertical milling machines, lathes, and saws, with change of jigs and programming updates.

Shifts are Continental Days & Nights (7-7) in Birmingham, with a pay rate of £19.36 per hour plus overtime. You will work to high quality standards, focusing on on-time delivery and strong health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE grade C in Maths, English, and Science.
• Good Numeracy, English, and Reasoning ability (an entrance test will be given).
• BTEC Engineering Diplomas or A Levels in Maths or Science preferred.
• CNC experience preferred.

• AII team members are expected be proactive in making improvements e.g. machine reliability, process design, quality assurance, etc.
