Job summary

YT Technologies is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support prototype hardware components from design through validation. You will work with the Prototype Manufacturing Manager and CAM Programmer to develop hydraulic systems and applications, machining 1-off and low-volume parts to tight tolerances.

Essential requirements include 3+ years operating multi-axis machines, Fanuc G-code, GD&T, and precise measurement with micrometers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience setting & operating multi axis milling machines & CNC lathes.
• Knowledge & understanding of Fanuc / ISO G code programming.
• Competency with hand measurement tools (micrometres, vernier calipers).
• Strong understanding of 2D drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of prototype hardware components from design to validation teams.
• Machining and inspecting components to tight tolerances.

YT Technologies is proud to be a partner for Domin.

They are looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to support delivery of Prototype hardware components from Design to product Validation teams. Reporting to the Prototype Manufacturing Manager and working with their CAM Programmer, you will be pivotal in further developing their world class hydraulic systems & their applications, through machining 1-off & low-volume components to the tightest of tolerance

Essential Requirements:

1. 3+ years experience of setting & operating multi axis milling machines & CNC lathes

2. Knowledge & understanding of Fanuc / ISO G code programming

3. Competency of using hand measurement tools (EG. micrometres, vernier callipers, etc.)

4. Strong understanding of 2D drawings and GD&T principles

5. In depth knowledge of metal cutting tools & techniques

6. Proficient in machining & inspecting components to <10 tolerance

Beneficial Requirements:

1. Full online ISO/G-Code programming ability

2. Experience with Sub-spindle lathes & live tooling

3. Experience of machining Castings and/or AM components

4. Wire EDM programming & operation experience

5. Experience in setting & operating cylindrical grinders
