Job summary

Qualifications

• Substantial practical experience in CNC, machining or precision engineering.
• Ability to teach and demonstrate practical skills clearly to learners.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant Level 3 Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, deliver and assess machining and CNC programmes across a range of levels.
• Deliver a mix of practical workshop teaching and underpinning theory.
• Bring current industry practice and standards into teaching.
• Assess learner work fairly and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Create a safe, positive and supportive workshop environment.
• Monitor learner progress and adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Work with colleagues to keep the curriculum relevant.
