Job summary

Harris Lord Recruitment is recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist for a brand-new cabinet production team on the outskirts of Horsham, West Sussex. You will operate Homag Sawteq S100 and V200 machines, using SmartWOP to cut and drill cabinet components to exacting standards.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC / panel processing experience.
• Experience operating Homag machinery.
• Homag SmartWOP experience - essential.
• Experience working from cutting lists.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident loading and running CNC cutting/drilling programmes.
• Kitchen or furniture cabinet manufacturing experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate Homag Sawteq S100 beam saw and Homag V200 CNC drilling machine.
• Use Homag SmartWOP software to accurately cut and drill cabinet components.
• Check finished components for accuracy and label accordingly.
• Maintain high production standards throughout manufacturing.

CNC Machinist - Homag

£40,000 | Outskirts of Horsham, West Sussex (Coolham) | Permanent | Monday-Friday

We're delighted to be exclusively recruiting for an expanding company as they build a brand-new cabinet manufacturing team on the outskirts of Horsham, West Sussex.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with strong Homag experience to join this new team from the outset and play a key part in getting the new production operation up and running.

The role

You’ll be operating a Homag Sawteq S100 beam saw and Homag V200 CNC drilling machine, using Homag SmartWOP software to accurately cut and drill cabinet components.

You’ll work from cutting lists, check finished components for accuracy, label components and ensure high standards are maintained throughout production.

What we're looking for

• Experience working from cutting lists
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Reliable and technically minded
