Job summary

Life Kitchens are seeking to recruit a multi skilled operative for their manufacturing site in Newton Aycliffe. The successful candidate will be running our machines within the factory, ensuring all components are accounted for, and quality checked to meet our standards.

The postholder will build internal customer supplier relationships to fully understand what is required at each stage of the process. This role requires a practical, hands-on approach with experience in CNC machinery and a focus

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a machine operator.
• Experience in manufacture / build of KBB industry products.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations advantageous.
• Well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Operating drilling/CNC machinery to production standards.
• Meeting set KPIs – output per hour.
• Setting up machines (calibration, cleaning etc).
• Feeding raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Assisting in other areas of the factory where required.
• Ensuring all components meet quality standards prior to leaving site and OTIF targets.
• Maintaining housekeeping and daily KPI data capture.
• Raising recuts through MES and reporting to supervision.
