Job summary

The Best Connection Warrington are seeking an experienced CNC / Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Warrington area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and the chance to secure a permanent position.

You will operate CNC machinery, load materials, read engineering drawings and perform quality checks, ensuring products meet specifications while maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC or machine operating experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC machinery
• Loading raw materials and unloading finished products
• Reading and working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment
• Adjusting machine settings where required
• Monitoring production runs and reporting any faults

• Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment
• Adjusting machine settings where required

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:30 (1 hour unpaid lunch break)

Friday: 08:30 - 12:30

Pay Rate

£15.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
