Job summary

Kiyo Engineering in Redhill is seeking two CNC Machine Operators to prepare and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling and turning, ensuring parts meet exact specifications.

You will load materials, inspect finished parts, maintain a clean work area, and follow health and safety procedures. Prior CNC experience is helpful but not essential; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, turning tasks.
• Load raw materials and parts into machines.
• Inspect and measure finished parts against quality specs.
• Deburr and clean finished components as needed.
• Empty swarf trays as required.
• Follow company procedures for every machine operation.
• Keep machines and surrounding areas clean and tidy.
• Strictly observe health and safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team members.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

About the role

• Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning etc.
• Preparing and loading raw materials and parts into the machines
• Inspecting and measuring finished products and comparing them with technical and quality requirements
• De-burring and cleaning of finished parts as necessary
• Emptying swarf trays as appropriate
• Ensuring that every machine procedure is undertaken in accordance with the company guidelines
• Ensuring all machines operated throughout the day together with surrounding work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
• Strictly adhering to all health and safety procedures
• Demonstrating a strong team approach ensuring clear communication with colleagues at all levels
• Adhering to SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)

About you

• Must be a team player and have the ability to work well with others
• Must have a safety conscious mindset
• Previous experience in CNC Machining is desired by not necessary
• Passion for manufacturing
• Willingness to take on additional training as required by the business
