Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is currently seeking an experienced CNC machine setter and operator for a site in Liverpool. The role supports milling and turning operations with emphasis on quality inspection and tooling selection.

Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are essential, with a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on safety and cleanliness. Previous programming experience would be beneficial, and the position offers a realistic path to permanent employment within a growing engineering

CNC Operator

Location: Liverpool

Contract type: Temp to Perm

Working days: Monday to Friday

Shift: 10am to 6pm (shift rotations from the new year)

Pay: £14.49 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC machine setter and operator to work for one of our bust engineering clients based in Liverpool. This is a great opportunity for someone that is looking to grow within an already successful business. Previous programming experience would be beneficial. Duties of the role will include:

• Operating Milling and Turning machines
• Quality inspection
• Selecting the correct tooling for each job
• Routine maintenance on machinery
• Adhering to all health and safety and site cleanliness policies

The successful candidate must:

• Have good literacy and numeracy skills
• Have good attention to detail
• Have a strong focus around quality
• Be able to interpret drawings
