Job summary

bright-search ltd in Standish near Wigan is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join an established engineering team. You will set, load and operate CNC lathes, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure components meet tight tolerances with quality workmanship.

Fanuc experience is preferred and programming capability is a plus; if you can program CNC lathes from drawings, you will command the higher £17.00 rate.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Able to set machines from engineering drawings.
• Fanuc experience preferred.
• Programming experience is not essential, but programmers will earn the higher rate.

Responsibilities

CNC LATHE SETTER / OPERATOR / PROGRAMMER

£14.13£17.00 per hour + Regular Overtime | Wigan | Permanent

We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter / Operator to join an established engineering company in Standish.

Pay depends on your level of experience:

• CNC Setter / Operator £14.13 per hour
• CNC Programmer £17.00 per hour

If you can fully program CNC lathes from engineering drawings, you will be considered for the higher £17.00 rate.

What we're looking for

• Experience setting and operating CNC lathes
• Able to set machines yourself not simply load and operate
• Able to work from engineering drawings
• Fanuc experience preferred
• Programming experience is not essential, but programmers will receive the higher rate

Hours

MondayThursday: 7:30am4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am11:30am

Regular overtime is available at an enhanced rate, including additional hours MondayThursday and Friday afternoons.
