Absolute Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced Laser Operator in Shrewsbury to join a busy sheet metal manufacturing team. You will set up, operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components on schedule.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, selecting proper tooling and maintaining product quality. Evening shifts are available; a forklift or crane experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in sheet metal manufacturing.
• Able to read engineering drawings and production orders.
• Proficient with verniers, micrometers and gauges for quality checks.

Aufgaben

• Set up, operate and monitor CNC laser cutting machines.
• Load/unload raw materials with lifting equipment as needed.
• Interpret drawings and work instructions to select tooling and settings.
• Carry out first-off inspections and routine quality checks.
• Record production data and downtime accurately.
