We're looking to hire a CNC Laser Cutting Machine Setter Operator to join our day shift as we grow.

Working on the premises of a well-established precision engineering business, your skills and experience as a CNC Laser Cutting Machine Setter Operator will be just what we're looking for to fulfil an important role in the manufacturing of high quality, premium precision engineered components which are supplied to customers across the globe.

Your duties as our new CNC Laser Cutting Machine Setter Operator will include:

1. Setting up and operating a CNC laser cutting machine
2. Producing precision engineered component parts
3. Setting and operating CNC tool grinding machines (once trained)
4. Setting and operating a press brake (once trained)
5. Checking the accuracy of your work against engineering drawings
6. Keeping your area clean and tidy
7. Plus any associated duties as required.

Reporting to your new manager, your job will see you producing precision engineered component parts mostly made from aluminium and stainless steel. You'll join an already well established and supportive team where you'll be welcomed and given all the support you need to settle in and to get up to speed in your new job. This is a very important role which will suit you if you take a pride in your work and you like to produce high quality products that you know will be put to good use. As you're making them, you'll know that the components you're creating will go on to improve, and often even save someone's life.

Essential requirement for this job:

CNC laser cutting machine setting and operating experience

Working hours:

39 hours per week, day shift with lunchtime finish on Fridays

Salary:

As a guide, we're looking to pay between £28,800 - £30,000, and please let us know your salary requirements and we will do our best for you. There is often lots of overtime available too, paid at premium rates.
