Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and organized Bar Cellar Supervisor to manage all aspects of our cellar operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining high standards of cleanliness, stock management, and beverage quality, ensuring seamless service from cellar to bar and preserving the integrity of our drink offerings.

Hours of Work:

This is a casual role with no guaranteed hours. Shift patterns are flexible and may include early mornings, late nights, and weekends. Pay starts at £12.95 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee daily cellar operations, including receiving, storing, and rotating stock.
  2. Maintain beer lines, ensure cleanliness, and regulate cellar temperatures.
  3. Monitor stock levels of kegs, gas, and bottled products.
  4. Coordinate with suppliers and delivery drivers for deliveries.
  5. Ensure drinks are served in optimal condition by monitoring quality and presentation.
  6. Assist with monthly stock takes and report discrepancies.
  7. Comply with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.
  8. Support the bar team during busy periods as needed.
  9. Train team members on cellar and drink handling procedures.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a bar or pub environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of cellar operations, beer line cleaning, and stock control
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items such as barrels and kegs
  • Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations related to cellar and bar operations
  • A personal licence is desirable but not essential
  • Confident communicator and team player
