Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator, ideally Programmer) in Sittingbourne to manufacture parts for machine building. The role involves setting, operating and programming 3-axis Haas machines, with CAD/CAM programming desirable and training provided on joining parts for production.

The position is permanent with a 39-hour week, 7.30am to 4pm (Friday finish 3pm) and monthly pay plus overtime when required, OT paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

• Experience with Heidenhain Control preferred.
• Experience working on 3 axis Haas machines.
• CAD/CAM programming experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of cutting tools.
• Offline programming experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Setting, operating, and programming CNC machine centres – 3 axis (Haas).
• Programming Haas CNC machinery, CAD/CAM – desirable.
• Capable of setting and operating CNC machine centres; offline programming experience would be an advantage.
• Able to work in a variety of materials – aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, etc.
