Job summary

Premier Work Support is recruiting a permanent CNC Miller for a client based in Dartford. The role involves milling on 3-axis and 5-axis machines, with a preference for Heidenhain control, and responsibilities including setting, operating, and programming the machines.

You will interpret engineering drawings with GD&T, use various measuring tools, and work to tight tolerances on precision components in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC milling and multi-axis machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using a variety of measuring equipment.
• Good knowledge of cutting tools.

Responsibilities

• Milling on CNC mills (3-axis and 5-axis).

Premier Work Support are currently recruiting for a permanent CNC Miller for our prestigious client based in Dartford.

Job role:

• CNC Machinist Milling -3 Axis and 5 Axis
• Experience with heidenhain control preferred
• Setting/Operating/Programming
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings with a good understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances to carry out machining of precision components
• Ability to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
• Good knowledge of cutting tools
• You should have a positive attitude, be organised, punctual, reliable and safety conscious, working in accordance with relevant company policies
