Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd in Sittingbourne is seeking a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator, ideally Programmer) for a permanent role. The position offers a 39-hour week with hours 7:30am–4:00pm and overtime paid at time and a half when required.

You will set up and operate 3-axis Haas milling machines, read engineering drawings, and may program using CAD/CAM. Applicants should have experience with CAD/CAM programming and Heidenhain control, plus the ability to interpret drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM programming (preferred).
• Experience with Heidenhain control (preferred).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Setting / Operating / Programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis Haas) and read/interpret engineering drawings.
• Program using CAD/CAM where applicable; offline programming is an advantage.
• Adjust and change tooling as needed; maintain good knowledge of cutting tools.
• Work with a variety of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel and titanium.
