Job Overview

Join a high-performance manufacturing team dedicated to precision engineering. We are seeking a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator to enhance our machining department, working with advanced Struder Cylindrical/universal grinding machines to produce critical, high-tolerance parts.

Responsibilities

1. Set and operate CNC grinding equipment, specifically Studer cylindrical/universal grinders.
2. Program, edit, and improve existing and new parts using Fanuc CNC controls.
3. Manufacture complex components with precision and attention to detail.
4. Work within a supportive engineering team, maintaining strict health and safety standards.
5. Drive continuous improvement through participation in kaizen and safety initiatives.

Role Requirements

Essential:

• Strong understanding of cylindrical and universal grinding techniques.
• Competent in operating and setting CNC controls safely.
• Team-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Proven experience in fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing settings.

Desirable:

• Ability to program directly from engineering drawings using Fanuc controls.
• CNC grinding knowledge and experience.
• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship background.
