Job summary

Sauce People Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover customer sites across Yorkshire, Manchester and the North West. The role focuses on service, maintenance and support of machine tools and CNC equipment at client sites, working from home with regional coverage.

You will undertake planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and electrical/mechanical diagnostics, ensuring high service standards while minimising travel where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC or machine tools preferred.
• Strong electrical bias with mechanical knowledge.
• Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
• Good fault finding and diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative maintenance.
• Reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Servicing and maintaining machine tools.
• Attending customer sites for emergency call-outs.
