Job summary

Euro-Projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CNC Service Engineer with an electrical bias to cover Yorkshire region (WF10 Castleford). The role involves installation, commissioning and maintenance of CNC machine tools and automation equipment.

You will diagnose faults on CNC drives, PLCs and motors, travelling to customer sites across the Yorkshire region. This is a field service role within a well-respected SME engineering business based in the North of England.

Qualifications

• Electrical biased engineering role with CNC/machine tools exposure.
• Field service experience across customer sites in the Yorkshire region.

Job description

CNC Service Engineer – Electrical bias. WF10, Castleford, Yorkshire region. Overall package £50,000+

• Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, CNC Service Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or similar.
• Working for a UK based specialist who supply Machine tools and CNC machinery. Installation, commission and maintenance of CNC machine tools and automation equipment. You will need experience of fault finding on CNC, drives, controls (PLC), motors.
• Working for a well respected, very professional SME engineering business based in the North of England. Well structured and well planned work – they have Coordinators who help ensure the workload is distributed fairly across the service team.
• Yorkshire based covering customers mainly within this region. Excellent overall package, good starting basic + overtime (paid door to door) + bonus scheme (paid out quarterly) + Van + Private healthcare and other wider benefits. You will be well compensated.

This CNC Service Engineer job will suit:

• Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, CNC Service Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or similar – you will be accustomed to travelling to customer manufacturing sites across the Yorkshire region.
• Technically astute (Mechanical / Electrical split ideally with an electrical bias), Good knowledge of CNC and automated machinery – working with drives, motors, PLC’s, Control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain).
• You could work in a related industry; Automotive, Food & Process, Distribution, Packaging or similar.
• Strong leadership and communication skills – you will need to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders – onsite colleagues, sub contractors, customers etc.
• Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering knowledge – qualifications or experience working in a technical role.
• Able to travel to customer sites – full UK driving license.
