Job summary

Euro-projects Recruitment Ltd is seeking a CNC Service Engineer with a strong electrical bias to cover Yorkshire. The role is predominantly field-based, installing, commissioning, servicing and maintaining CNC machine tools and automation equipment across customer sites.

You will diagnose faults on CNC controls and drives, work with Fanuc/Siemens/Heidenhain platforms, and travel widely within Yorkshire, supported by a coordinated service team.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering and fault-finding capability.
• Experience with CNC machinery and automation equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Yorkshire.
• Independently at customer sites with good planning and communication.
• Field-based role in Yorkshire with coordinated workload.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission CNC machine tools and automation equipment at customer sites.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and technical support on CNC machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and control-system faults.
• Fault finding on CNC controls, PLCs, drives, motors and associated electrical systems.
• Work with Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain control platforms.
• Travel to manufacturing sites across the Yorkshire region and support customers on site.
